The NBA is celebrating its 75th season, and in honor of this anniversary, the league will select the 75 best All-Time NBA players.
The NBA will divide the complete list into three parts, with 25 players in each iteration. The first part, released on Wednesday, includes two European players: Dirk Nowitzki and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Two other currently active players also made the cut - James Harden and Kevin Durant.
The complete list: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nate Archibald, Charles Barkley, Bob Cousy, Dave Cowens, Kevin Durant, Julius Erving, George Gervin, Hal Greer, James Harden, Elvin Hayes, Jerry Lucas, Moses Malone, Kevin McHale, George Mikan, Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, Hakeem Olajuwon, Bob Pettit, Willis Reed, Oscar Robertson, David Robinson, Bill Russell, and John Stockton.
During its 50th anniversary in 1997, the NBA compiled a similar list of 50 best All-Time players. They were honored in a special presentation during the All-Star Weekend in Cleveland.
