DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell scored 27 points and Dee Bost produced a rare triple-double, leading Galatasaray to a 92-85 (27-17, 18-24, 26-21, 21-13) road win over Turkish champions Anadolu Efes.

With this result, both teams stand at 3-2. Karsiyaka, Fenerbahce and Tofas lead the table at 4-1. DeVaughn Akoon Purcell was the top scorer with 27 points while Melo Trimble added 22 points for the yellow-reds. Dee Bost had a great performance, making a triple-double with 15 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists.

Rodrigue Beaubois was the top scorer for the losing side with 22 points, while Shane Larkin had 20 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds. Elijah Bryant poured 14 points and 5 rebounds in his Basketball Super League debut, while Adrien Moerman finished with 14 points and 6 rebounds.The two teams were close for the most part, until the start of the third quarter when Efes increased the difference to double digits with a three-pointer by Moerman (57-47). The hosts widened the gap with Larkin making it 61-47.

Galatasaray initially cut down the margin to single digits with Melo Trimble and Devaughn Akoon Purcell catching fire on offense, before taking a 70-68 lead.

In the fourth quarter, the advantage was constantly changing hands, Galatasaray saw Dee Bost become impactful and lead a 0-5 run which ultimately decided the winner.
