The American guard positively shined in leading Panathinaikos OPAP Athens to a resounding 95-69 victory over the defending champion Anadolu Efes Istanbul, earning his first MVP of the Round honor in the process.

Macon posted a PIR of 38, the highest of any player in Round 6, and tied for the season's best, after scoring 34 points on a club-record 9-for-12 three-point shooting.

Those were the only 3 shots that Macon missed all night; he made both of his two-point attempts and 3 of 3 free throws, as well. He also collected 4 rebounds and 3 assists in fewer than 26 minutes on the floor.

Round 6's second-best index rating, 29, belonged to Jan Vesely of Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, who scored 24 points on 10-for-14 two-point shooting to go with 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal in a last-second home loss against FC Barcelona.

Next came Alpha Diallo of AS Monaco, whose 19 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists for a PIR of 28 helped beat visiting Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade by 70-62.

Macon's Panathinaikos teammate Georgios Papagiannis came next with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks against Efes for a PIR of 25.

Wrapping up the list was Matt Costello of Bitci Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz who had PIR 24 after scoring 18 points and pulling down 9 rebounds in a road loss to UNICS Kazan.

Individual highs: Scottie Wilbekin and John Brown III, 5 steals

Macon set a new season-high in the EuroLeague with 34 points in Round 6.

The reigning MVP, Vasilije Micic of Efes, leads the league with 20.5 points per game.

Tadas Sedekerskis of Baskonia pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds to lead all players this round.

Luke Sikma of ALBA Berlin is the EuroLeague's top rebounder this season with 8.7 on average

Efes guard Krunoslav Simon dished a career-best 9 assists, more than any other player in Round 6.

Nick Calathes of FC Barcelona leads the league with 5.3 assists per game.

Scottie Wilbekin of Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv and UNICS forward John Brown III had 5 steals apiece, a career-high for both and the most this round.

They are now co-leaders in overall steals with 2.2 per game, too.

Papagiannis and his teammate Jeremy Evans each had 3 blocks to lead Round 6.

Walter Tavares of Real Madrid is the top shot-blocker overall, averaging 1.8 blocks.
