The 11 clubs' shareholders voted today to dismiss Jordi Bertomeu from the position of CEO, according to multiple sources.

Per SDNA.gr., the votes' distribution went from 7-4 to 6-5 due to the change of Anadolu Efes Istanbul's attitude. The reigning Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champions voted against the removal of Bertomeu, such as Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, FC Barcelona, ​​Real Madrid, and Bitci Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, Olympiacos Piraeus, AX Armani Exchange Milan, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, Zalgiris Kaunas, and CSKA Moscow remained in favor of Jordi dismissal.

LDCL ASVEL Villeurbanne and FC Bayern Munich did not have the right to vote yet.

Jordi Bertomeu will be the EuroLeague CEO until the 30th of June, 2022.

Via Eurohoops' Aris Barkas, Bertomeu is expected to be offered a consultant position in the new management.
