Ratiopharm Ulm win at the overtime against Venezia after impressive comeback / News - Basketnews.com

With an impressive comeback in the second half, German side Ratiopharm Ulm (1-2) got the win against Reyer Venezia (1-2).

The Italian side played a fantastic first half but in the second one, they suffered Ulm's improved intensity. In the end, Ulm won the game at the overtime 90-83 (13-19, 15-30, 29-15, 19-12, 14-7).

During the overtime, Jaron Blossomgame scored 8 points and was the key factor for Ulm's win. Venezia struggled and scored only 7 points.

In the last minute and a half of the fourth quarter, Venezia had a 6-0 run to tie the game and force the overtime (76-76), thanks to two consecutive three-pointers made by Stefano Tonut.

Ulm started the final quarter down by 7 but with a 12-3 run they cut down Venezia's lead to just two points (65-67). With less than four minutes remaining, Semaj Christon gave Ulm their first lead (69-67).

Semaj Christon was the top scorer for Ulm with 19 points (6/12 2PT, 1/3 3PT, 4/7 FT), 7 assists, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, and 4 turnovers.

For Reyer Venezia, Stefano Tonut was the top scorer with 15 points (3/6 2PT, 3/4 3PT), 4 turnovers, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist.
