Myles Turner hit a career-high seven 3-pointers, including two to start a game-opening 11-point run by the host Indiana Pacers (3-6), who never trailed in a 111-98 (36-22, 23-28, 21-25, 31-23) win over the New York Knicks (5-3) on Wednesday night.

The Pacers have won two straight following a four-game losing streak. The Knicks have dropped two in a row after a three-game winning streak.

Turner finished with a game-high 25 points while adding 13 rebounds in his third double-double of the season.

The center entered Wednesday with just 11 3-pointers in the first eight games but went 7-for-10 from beyond the arc to top his previous career-high for 3-pointers -- five, which he did twice before.

Caris LeVert scored 21 points, including nine in the third quarter as the Pacers held off a pair of Knicks rallies. Malcolm Brogdon finished with 17 points, Torrey Craig had 12 points, and Domantas Sabonis and Chris Duarte each added 10 points.

Julius Randle (18 points, 14 rebounds) posted a double-double for the Knicks while RJ Barrett scored 23 points. Evan Fournier scored 14 points and Derrick Rose (13 points) and Alec Burks (10 points) each got into double figures off the bench.

Turner scored the Pacers' first eight points before Duarte drained a 3-pointer to extend the lead to 11-0 just 2:05 into the game. Indiana led by as many as 15 in the first quarter and by no fewer than seven in the second before carrying a 59-50 lead into halftime.

The Knicks mounted a pair of rallies in the third, but after a Fournier jumper closed the gap to 59-54, Turner hit a pair of 3-pointers to bookend an 8-2 run. New York closed within three at 69-66 on a layup by Barrett with 6:16 left before LeVert scored the next seven points.

A free throw by Randle pulled New York within 78-75 with 1:44 remaining in the quarter, but Immanuel Quickley and Rose each missed with a chance to narrow the deficit to one.

A floater by Quickley and Rose's layup cut the Pacers' lead to 85-83 with 9:47 left in the game, but T.J. McConnell hit a 3-pointer out of a timeout, and Indiana led by at least two possessions the rest of the way.

Pacers: Myles Turner 25 (7/10 2PT, 13 REB, 3 BLK), Caris LeVert 21 (7/13 2PT, 1/5 3PT, 5 AST, 3 BLK), Malcolm Brogdon 17 (6/8 2PT, 5/5 FT, 8 REB, 7 AST), Torrey Craig 12 (2/3 3PT, 7 REB), Chris Duarte 10 (2/4 3PT, 5 REB), Domantas Sabonis 10 (4/7 2PT, 7 REB, 4 TO).
