Olympiacos Piraeus (6-2) won their third straight game at the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, winning against AS Monaco (4-4) at home 86-65 (17-27, 18-11, 24-14, 27-13).

Monaco started the game well, gaining a seven-point advantage after Danilo Andjusic's 3-pointer (16-9). Even though Olympiacos came within two, Monaco ended the quarter with an 11-3 run to gain a double-digit lead (27-17).

The visitors were up by 11 at the halfway mark of the second period, but Olympiacos fought back with a 7-0 run to narrow their deficit to three going into the half (35-38).

The hosts' success continued in the third quarter, starting it off with a 12-2 run to gain a four-point advantage (47-43). Olympiacos were up by seven before the final period (59-52).

The hosts kept putting pressure on Monaco in the fourth, with their lead skyrocketing to 17 after an and-one by Livio Jean-Charles (74-57). Olympiacos continued increasing their advantage and won by 21.

Tyler Dorsey was amazing for Olympiacos, ending with 18 points (4/7 2PT, 1/6 3PT, 7/10 FT), 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 23 PIR.

"I feel like in the first half, we knew they were an up-tempo team that wanted to get in transition, and we gave that up in the first quarter," Dorsey said post-game. "Defensively, it took us over the hump. You always have to continue. It's the energy. No matter how it looks in the first half, it's a two-half game."

Donta Hall led Monaco with 11 points, 9 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block, and 15 PIR.

"It's obvious that our defensive approach for three quarters was fantastic," Olympiacos coach Bartzokas commented after the game. "It was amazing. And although we had a bad shooting day – we missed a lot of free throws; we missed a lot of open shots – through our defensive approach, we won this game. It's a win that we really appreciate."

Olympiacos: Tyler Dorsey 18 (7 REB), Jean-Charles Livio 18 (5 REB), Kostas Papanikolaou 11, Thomas Walkup 11, Sasha Vezenkov 10 (10 REB).

Monaco: Alpha Diallo 12, Donta Hall 11 (9 REB), Danilo Andjusic 11, Donatas Motiejunas 9, Mike James 7 (2/11 FG).
