As reported by encestando.es, Real Madrid will close the fiscal year 2021 with a deficit of 25,900,000 euros, while FC Barcelona will lose another 27,450,000.

Citing information from Spain, the article states that Real closed the 2018-19 season with a deficit of 26,470,000 euros, which were reduced to 26,300,000 in 2019-20 and even more, to 18,900,000 last year (2020).As for Barcelona, ​​the gap between income and expenses is growing bigger every year. On the other end, Real Madrid will spend 33 million on players' salaries and is projected to cash in 15,2 million. Almost half of it (7.3 million) comes from sponsorship deals.
