A month after being announced as the new Serbia national team head coach, Svetislav Pesic announced an imposing extended list of players, which includes 24 Serbian nationals.
10 days before the start of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers, the Serbian coaching legend determined a list of candidates who will defend the national colors against matchups versus Latvia and Belgium.
The list is highlighted by the current EuroLeague MVP Vasilije Micic and the current EuroCup Regular season MVP Milos Teodosic. The team also features another seven Euroleague players.
The first duel for the Serbian national team comes on November 25th against Latvia in the fierce Aleksandar Nikolic hall. Three days later, the European powerhouse travels to the city of Mons to play against the Belgium national team.
