Fenerbahce Beko's head coach Sasa Djordjevic started his press conference by congratulating his former club and stating that his team could not make the big shots in the decisive moments.

"First of all, congratulations to Bayern. In the crucial moments of the game, they've hit some important shots which brought up their spirit to finish the game," Djordjevic noted. "We couldn't find that big shot that we were looking for the whole game."

"We didn't have a good shooting night even though we created some open shots. With all the intensity on the floor and the effort we put, we still have to learn to react to these situations. Another game is in front of us; so, we just have to go on," Djordjevic added.

The Serbian coach also praised his countrymen Vladimir Lucic, who finished with 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 28 PIR.

"I think Lucic was exceptional tonight," Djordjevic admitted. "Like I said earlier, I was missing that one big shot in certain moments like the end of the third quarter and beginning of the fourth quarter to lift up the whole team."

Coach Djordjevic continued to praise his ex-player after receiving a question about his performance.

"Even when Bayern lost the game two days ago against Chemnitz, Lucic was exceptional. They lost against Monaco, but Lucic was exceptional. He is in great game shape. Tonight he has shown this in very tough shots.

I know him: that's why I wanted him here [in Bayern], that's why I was fighting for him for the national team all the time. So, Lucic is Lucic. He should enjoy this moment of his basketball career. He deserved it. Big heart," Djordjevic concluded.

On Bayern's side, head coach Andrea Trinchieri was not able to attend the press conference. The club reported that the coach had been fighting the flu all week, therefore, he had no energy left for the press conference.

Instead of him, assistant coach Slaven Rimac attended the press conference, who praised the team's performance on the defensive end.

"A very tough week is behind us with losses against Monaco and Chemnitz. We didn't have a lot of time for preparation. Our team put tremendous effort in defense and managed to win the game in the end, thanks to our defense.

De Colo finished the game with two points. I would say only Guduric gave us a tough time in the first half. Other than that, I would say our defense was very very good," Rimac said.
