Bitci Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz athlete Sander Raieste has undergone a partial meniscectomy on his left knee and will be out for around four weeks, via the official club's announcement.

The operation, which was done by Dr. Mikel Sanchez this morning, has been successful.

The 22-year-old signed a five-year contract with Baskonia in 2016. He was loaned to Kalev/Cramo in the 2019-20 campaign. Raieste signed a four-year extension with Baskonia on August 4, 2020.

The 2.04-meter forward did not play a single match with Baskonia's jersey this season. Last year he averaged 0.7 points and 0.9 rebounds over 10 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games while posting 1.7 points, 0.8 rebounds in 21 Liga ACB duels.
