Heat trade center Dewayne Dedmon to Spurs

The Miami Heat have agreed to a trade sending center DewayneDedmon and a second-round pick to the San Antonio Spurs, reports Shams Charania of TheAthletic.

It's a cost-cutting move for the Heat, with HoopsHype's Yossi Goslan pointingout that the Heat go from $192,895 below the luxury tax to $4.9million below, while also generating a $4.7 million tradeexception.

Dedmon has fallen out ot the Heat's rotation, having only playedonce in their last 10 games. In the 30 games he's played in thisseason for Miami, he has averaged 5.7 points and 3.6 rebounds.
