Mindaugas KuzminskasofZenit Saint Petersburg will join the Lithuania national team for the second qualifying match against the Czech Republic in Opava on November 29, according to bench boss Kazys Maksvytis.

Zenit stipulated that Kuzminskas will present himself at the club's training camp on Tuesday (November 30), per Lithuania national team head coach.

Zenit will play a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague match against Panathinaikos OPAP Athens on the road on Thursday (November 25). Kuzminskas will appear in a national team camp on Saturday.

On November 26, Lithuania will start the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Qualifiers against Bulgaria at home. Today they are starting the preparation.

The 32-year-old Kuzminskas is averaging 3.8 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 4.5 PIR over 11 EuroLeague games (9.5 minutes of playing time) this season.

Zalgiris KaunasplayersLukas LekaviciusandEdgaras Ulanovas,who were included in the extended list, will not help the team in the second qualifying game versus the Czech Republic. Zalgiris newcomer Regimantas Miniotaswill not wear a Lithuanian jersey either in the upcoming window.

"I had to talk to both Zalgiris and the players themselves - we couldn't reach an agreement. We will have to deal without them in this window," the bench boss described the situation.
