Former Maccabi Tel Aviv forward Zoosman made a key three-pointer to give ALBA a seven-point lead (87-80). Wilbekin tried to keep his team alive with another three-pointer but then a missed shot from outside by Nunnally basically ended the game for the Israeli side.

Back-to-back threes from Zoosman and Eriksson gave ALBA an eight-point lead (84-76), a comfortable cushion with three minutes left on the clock.

The Israeli side, though, didn't lose composure. Scottie Wilbekin and Keenan Evans kept the team in contact. Maccabi went on a 10-4 run and cut the deficit to just two points (78-76) with less than 4 minutes remaining.

The physical presence of Christ Koumadje close to the basket remained a big issue for Maccabi also in the final quarter. ALBA started the final period with a 7-0 run and extended the lead to 11 points (72-61).

In the first half, ALBA shot the ball really well from outside and finished the first 20 minutes up by 10 points (45-35). Marcus Eriksson had 11 points already, shooting 3/5 from outside.
