Nemanja Nedovic expressed his dissatisfaction with the action performed by Lavrio guard Alexandros Nikolaidis which resulted in his ankle injury.

"I just saw the video…if you're late and coming from the side of the shooter, you have no business being in his body, you get the f*ck out of there because you're late already and you cannot do much about it," wrote Nedovic on his Twitter account.

He added: "I don't care who the defender is or how old he is, you just don't do that. Yes, it can happen but it also could not happen and should not happen. End of story."

In a third tweet, Nedovic clarified that he wasn't aware of the fact that Nikolaidis is out on loan from Olympiacos (which basically means that he belongs to Panathinaikos's main rivals) and further pointed out that his opponent didn't try to deliberately step on his foot.

"First of all, I had no idea the kid is an Olympiacos player, I just found out. Second, if you're making this a PAO-OLY thing, your IQ is below 0, and there's no point in arguing. Third, I'm not accusing anybody, that's why I said I don't care who the defender is, of course, he didn't do it on purpose."

The 30-year-old got injured with 6:47 remaining on the clock (80-75) and limped off the court. An ankle sprain is the first estimation.

Nedovic received an unsportsmanlike foul by Lavrio guard Alexandros Nikolaidis while shooting a three-pointer.

The 1.91-meter athlete scored 15 points (3/4 2PT, 2/7 3PT, 3/4 FT) and dished 7 assists before the setback.

He will undergo medicals tomorrow to see if he will be ready versus ALBA Berlin.

Panathinaikos' bench boss Dimitris Priftis said post-game that they are waiting for further evaluation but it doesn't look simple.

The situation escalated further as Alexandros Nikolaidis's Instagram profile has more than 100 comments by furious PAO fans who curse him, "wishing" him to tear his ACL, get cancer, etc.
