The Rockets trailed by as many as 19 points and entered the fourth quarter trailing 101-88, but they scored a season-high 44 points in the final quarter to improve to 2-12 on the road this season. The Hawks lost their fifth straight homecourt game and have dropped four of their past five contests overall.

Gordon, who missed a game Saturday due to groin tightness, shot 10-for-16 from the field and 5-for-8 from 3-point range. Augustin was 6-for-7 on 3-point attempts and made four treys in the fourth quarter to spark the comeback.

The Houston bench produced a season-high 62 points. In addition to Augustin, Kenyon Martin Jr. had 13 points, Alperen Sengun scored 11 and David Nwaba, who had strong fourth quarter, contributed 10.

Atlanta took a 101-88 lead into the fourth quarter, but the Rockets cut the deficit into single digits by scoring the first five points. Houston took the lead on Augustin's 3-pointer that made it 121-119 with 3:31 left as part of a 10-0 run. Houston converted 8 of 11 3-point attempts in the final quarter.

Atlanta's Trae Young finished with 41 points and nine assists but saw his streak of five straight games with 25-plus points and 10-plus assists end.

Hawks big man Clint Capela had 12 points and 16 rebounds in the first game against his former team.

The Hawks got 16 points from Young in the first quarter and ran off to a 38-28 lead, then extended it to 69-58 at halftime.

Atlanta plays again on Wednesday at Orlando. The Rockets complete a three-game road trip at Cleveland on Wednesday.
