With 2.977 3-pointers and counting, the agile guard has officially become the greatest shooter of all time.
So, it was only fit that the NBA world would take the time to congratulate Steph Curry on Twitter, with several current and former plays sending their props.
LeBron James was one of the first to do so.
"Just landed in Dallas to see Stephen Curry broke the record and to make it even doper he did it in the Garden!! Wow, congrats brother! Incredible," the King wrote.
Curry's brother, Seth, also confirmed that Stephen became "The official 3 God".
As the night went on, several more -active and retired- players joined in.
Magic Johnson wrote: "Congratulations to Steph Curry for making history and setting the new NBA All-Time 3-point record tonight! Thank you Stephen Curry for revolutionizing the game of basketball forever! It was great to see his parents Dell and Sonya there supporting him!".
Chris Paul had a game of his own going on, the one between the Suns and the Blazers, but that didn't prevent him from showing respect to his colleague.
"Steph has definitely changed the game. Guys like me and Chuck (Charles Barkley) don't like it. We don't want to see guys just coming out and shooting threes. I'm anxious to see what happens when he gets to 1.300 games," Shaquille O'Neal commented on TV.
