Olympiacos Piraeus (10-5) returned to the winning track, ending FC Bayern Munich's (7-8) two-game losing streak in Greece and blowing them out 83-60 (26-10, 23-14, 16-13, 18-23).

Olympiacos grabbed their opponents by the throat right from the start, kicking the game off with a 10-0 run. Led by Sasha Vezenkov and Tyler Dorsey, they kept pounding Bayern and ended the first quarter with a commanding 26-10 lead.

The hosts maintained their intensity in the second, as their advantage continued to grow. It reached 20 points at the halfway mark of the period (39-19). Olympiacos put the game away at halftime, more than doubling their opponent's score (49-24).

They did it without making a single 3-pointer (0/6 3PT), pounding the ball in the paint (20/24 2PT).

Olympiacos didn't ease up in the second half, with their advantage skyrocketing to 34 points in the third (65-31). Bayern managed to cut their deficit a bit in the fourth, but Olympiacos' lead was too large to overcome. The hosts ended up winning by 23.

Olympiacos converted 25 of 33 shots inside the line (75.8%). They finished the game with 100 PIR versus 44 PIR from Bayern.

Sasha Vezenkov led Olympiacos with 16 points (5/6 2PT, 1/2 3PT, 3/3 FT), 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 turnovers, and 24 PIR.

"It's great that we are undefeated at our home court," Vezenkov gladly said post-game. "It was really a tough game even though the score doesn’t show it. We started really well, I think we finished the game in the first half, which is very important."

His partner in crime, Giannoulis Larentzakis, who had 15 points, was happy with his individual, as well as the team's performance.

"It was a very nice moment [hearing fans calling my name] but I wanted to stay focused on the win because it was very important for us and now we must go on because we have a very difficult game on Friday against ASVEL."

Olympiacos: Sasha Vezenkov 16 (9 REB), Giannoulis Larentzakis 15, Thomas Walkup 13, Tyler Dorsey 10, Moustapha Fall 8 (5 REB), Kostas Sloukas 8.

Bayern: Augustine Rubit 10 (5 REB), Deshaun Thomas 9, Othello Hunter 9 (5 REB), Vladimir Lucic 8, Andreas Obst 8.
