Lonely times are likely to continue for the Chicago Bulls, head coach Billy Donovan said on Thursday.

"We haven't been able to do anything at all," Donovan said regarding team workouts and practices.
Medically cleared individuals, including Coby White and Javonte Green returning from COVID-19 protocols, are able to work out at the team facility. DeMar DeRozan should be among the next individuals to shuffle out of protocols and into individual workouts.
But the full roster might not be together again until early in the new year, Donovan said.
"I think the league is doing everything they can do to obviously play games and at the same time keep people healthy," Donovan said.
At the moment, the Bulls are scheduled to return to the court Sunday, hosting the Los Angeles Lakers. That game was moved back five hours to a nighttime start and the Bulls are hoping every hour removed from a flood of positive tests for the virus will be beneficial.
Not expected back this weekend are Zach LaVine, Ayo Dosunmu and Alize Johnson. Donovan said all three are more likely to return "after Christmas."
The Bulls could be near a full roster for the New Year's Eve matinee at Indiana provided the team doesn't receive more bad news on the health front.
The Lakers are dealing with their own headaches with Dwight Howard, Malik Monk and Talen Horton-Tucker in COVID protocol.
