After Fabien Causeur's two-pointer, Real extended their lead to 11 points (73-62) with 2:37 to go.

Though, Milan did not raise the white flag. Malcolm Delaney converted two shots from the line, Shavon Shields nailed a trey, and Luigi Datome scored both free-throws and Armani Exchange cut their deficit to 4 points (69-73) with 44 seconds to play.

Sergio Llull terminated Real's silence, hitting one of two free throws (74-69). Luigi Datome Answered him with a trey on the other end (72-74) with 23 seconds to go.

Milan fouled Fabien Causeur who drained only one free shot from two. Though, Walter Tavares grabbed an offensive rebound while Adam Hanga went to the free-throw line. The game clock was showing 5 seconds left. However, the Hungarian forward missed both, Yabusele got a foul and gave a chance to Milan.

Devon Hall nailed one free throw and missed the second one on purpose. Armani Exchange managed to get the offensive rebound but Malcolm Delaney's crucial three-point shot was off the mark.

Guerschon Yabusele posted 15 points (4/5 2PT, 2/3 3PT, 1/2 FT), 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 turnover, 4 drawn fouls, and 22 PIR.

"We expected at halftime Milan coming back and playing strong. They played well, but we had to stay strong and finish the game. It was all mental. We had to stay focused when we had the game and not lose control," told Yabusele post-game.

Shavon Shields led the path for Armani Exchange, registering 18 points (5/8 2PT, 2/4 3PT, 2/3 FT), 2 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 turnover, 5 drawn fouls, and 19 PIR.

"We won three quarters of this game, but a very disgraceful second period cost us the game. We will keep working and we will be better," said Ettore Messina after a close loss.

Trey Thompkins, Alberto Abalde, Carlos Alocen, Thomas Heurtel, and the team's bench boss Pablo Laso were forced to miss the duel.
