EuroLeague fines Crvena Zvezda €48k for fans' behavior / News - Basketnews.com

Crvena Zvezda Belgrade have been sanctioned with a total fine of €47,000 for fans' behavior in EuroLeague Round 15 and 16 games against FC Barcelona and FC Bayern Munich, respectively.

The Serbian club will have to pay a fine of €7,000 and another €4,000, "for the conduct of a group of people committing acts that show a lack of respect and for the throwing of objects onto the playing court on the occasion of its home game against FC Barcelona under Article 29.2.g) and h) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code respectively," per EuroLeague announcement.

Zvezda have also been sanctioned with a fine of €31,000, and a fine of €6,000 for the aggression against a player of the visiting team, and for the throwing of objects onto the playing court on the occasion of their home game against FC Bayern Munich under Article 29.1.e) and 29.2.h) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code respectively.

Furthermore, the EuroLeague judge imposed a fine of €750 to Maccabi Tel Aviv for the throwing of objects onto the playing court on the occasion of their home game against Anadolu Efes Istanbul under Article 29.2.h) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
