The late Dusan Ivkovic, who passed away on September 16, 2021, and former Virtus Bologna and San Antonio Spurs legendEmmanuel Ginobili are among the 2022 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame candidates.
The list includes numerous high-profile nominees like Tom Chambers, Chauncey Billups, Muggsy Bogues, Mark Eaton, Tim Hardaway, Bob Huggins, George Karl, Shawn Marion, Dick Motta, Paul Westphal, Del Harris, Doug Collins and Jim Valvano.
International Committee nominations include Ivkovic, the also late EuroLeague-European Cup scoring legends Alphonso Ford and Radivoj Korac, Maccabi Tel Aviv president Shimon Mizrahi, former Real Madrid coach Lolo Sainz and ex-Olimpia Milano coach Dan Peterson.
