Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar (6-2) prevailed Partizan NIS Belgrade (6-2) 101-94 (22-23, 23-19, 25-23, 31-29) to recover after heavy last week's blow versus Hamburg Towers.

After the close three quarters (70-65), Errick McCollum extended Loko's lead to 8 points (73-65) at the start of the decisive period. Both clubs were trading buckets as Kevin Punter started to show his class. He converted the 3+1 play while Aleksa Avramovic added a duo and Partizan's deficit was only 2 points (77-79) with 5 minutes to go.

Squads were exchanging with successful attacks, though, Errick McCollum and Greg Whittington nailed four consecutive free throws to give their team a 7-point lead (93-86) with 1:57 to play.

Aleksa Avramovic converted two shots from the line but Stanton Kidd drained two crucial threes in a row to sink Partizan's ship (99-88).

Errick McCollum was unstoppable for Loko, posting a career-high 33 points (4/8 2PT, 5/7 3PT, 10/12 FT), 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 turnover, 7 drawn fouls, and 37 PIR.

Darius Thompson was one rebound away from the triple-double performance, accumulating 10 points (1/1 2PT, 2/4 3PT, 2/3 FT), 10 assists, 9 rebounds, 2 steals, and 28 PIR.

Johnathan Motley was eliminated from the game in the third period, when he received an unsportsmanlike foul. Before that, he got a technical, therefore he could not continue the game.

Motley finished the duel with 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 12 PIR in his resume.

Zach LeDay was the top performer of Partizan, registering 19 points (3/5 2PT, 2/5 3PT, 7/8 FT), 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 turnover, 9 drawn fouls, and 23 PIR.

Lokomotiv: Errick McCollum 33 (5 REB), Stanton Kidd 16, Quinn Cook 15, Johnathan Motley 11 (6 REB), Darius Thompson 10 (9 REB, 10 AST).

Partizan: Gregor Glas 20, Zach LeDay 19 (4 REB), Aleksa Avramovic 15, Kevin Punter 14 (6 REB), Rade Zagorac 11 (4 REB).
