According to a report from Shams Charania of The Athletic, San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon is being seriously pursued by two WNBA teams, New York Liberty and Las Vegas Aces, for their head coaching position.

The New York Liberty head coaching position is currently vacant, while Bill Laimbeer is the head coach of the Las Vegas Aces but would be willing to move in a different position if Hammon will accept the role.
Becky Hammon spent her WNBA career between these two teams, the first half with the New York Liberty and the other with the San Antonio Stars. After she decided to retire, the San Antonio team was moved to Las Vegas in 2018.
During the last offseason, Hammon was interviewed by two NBA teams for their head coaching position, the Orlando Magic and the Portland Trail Blazers.
