Maccabi announced that the head coach Ioannis Sfairopoulos has decided to leave the American forward in Israel. The player will stay in Tel Aviv for individual workouts.

Nunnally has been in the epicenter of controversy lately, with reports of the forward having altercations with teammates during practices and wanting to join the CBA. Nunnally has strictly denied the reports.

"Please don’t use my name for fake stories it’s draining to everyone. We win 5 in a row we’re great, now we are in a tough moment finger-pointing starts. We all want to win & will play better," Nunnally posted then on Twitter.

The American forward is averaging 12.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists for 13.5 PIR in the Euroleague. Maccabi currently sit 11th in the standings with 7 wins and 10 losses.
