Wanamaker was released by the Indiana Pacers a couple of days ago. His services have reportedly drawn interest from multiple EuroLeague teams. However, the 32-year-old has decided to stay in the NBA.

Wanamaker averaged 3.5 points and 2.2 assists over 13.3 minutes in 22 games in his first season in Indiana. He has also represented the Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, and Charlotte Hornets during his NBA tenure.

Before going overseas, Wanamaker was a member of teams like Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, Brose Baskets Bamberg, and Darussafaka Tekfen Istanbul.

The Wizards currently have eight players in the NBA's health and safety protocols: Rui Hachimura, Montrezl Harrell, Bradley Beal, Aaron Holiday, Thomas Bryant, Anthony Gill, Raul Neto, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
