During the same season, a player registered in the EuroLeague may only transfer to another EuroLeague club between Round 16 and Round 18. So Dragic is not eligible to play in the EuroLeague this season.
32-year-old Slovenian swingman wasn't included in Zalgiris 12-man roster for two recent games vs. Juventus Utena and Panathinaikos OPAP Athens.
"Zoran is not in the 12-man roster," Zalgiris head coach Jure Zdovc said before the EuroLeague trip to Athens. "It was my decision. We didn't take him to the game against Juventus because it was a preparation match for the game against Panathinaikos. He is still with the team and practices well."
Dragic joined Zalgiris on October 30. In 9 EuroLeague games, Dragic averaged 3.9 points and 1.2 rebounds in 13 minutes. He scored season-high 13 points to lift Zalgiris to a win over Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul.
However, in 3 of 4 last EuroLeague games, he played less than 7 minutes.
Last season Dragic played in Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz. In EuroLeague, 1.96 m player averaged 8.5 points and 1.6 rebounds. He also averaged 8.7 points and 1.7 rebounds in the ACB league.
In his career, Dragic played for such teams as Anadolu Efes Istanbul, AX Armani Exchange Milan, Khimki Moscow Region, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, or Unicaja Malaga.
