EuroLeague fines Panathinaikos and Barcelona for inappropriate fans' behavior / News - Basketnews.com

EuroLeague Basketball has announced the following disciplinary sanction pertaining to incidents that occurred in Round 17 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season.

FC BARCELONA have been sanctioned with a €4,000 fine for the conduct of a people group, committing acts that show a lack of respect in their home game against UNICS Kazan under Article 29.2.g) of the EuroLeague Basketball Disciplinary Code. PANATHINAIKOS OPAP ATHENS have been sanctioned with a €6,000 fine for the lighting of crackers inside the arena, a €7,000 fine for the use of laser pointers, a €12,000 fine for the conduct of a people group, committing acts that show a lack of respect, and an €8,000 fine for the objects throwing on the court in their home game versus Olympiacos Piraeus under Article 29.2.e), f), g) and h) of the EuroLeague Basketball Disciplinary Code, respectively.
