Anthony Bennett's adventure in Israel is officially over. Hapoel Jerusalem officially announced that they have parted ways with former no.1 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.

With the arrival of John Egbunu, it was only a matter of time before this move would have become official.

Bennett, who's also a former EuroLeague champion with Fenerbahce, wasn't able to leave a great mark on the team. In the Israeli league, he averaged 6.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game during his tenure with the team.

In the past weeks, Hapoel Jerusalem had already parted ways with another former NBA player, Thon Maker. Despite arriving in Israel with a lot of expectations on their shoulders, neither of them was able to impress the coaching staff during their time with Hapoel.
