Denver Nuggets superstar and reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokic received warm praise from his coach Popeye Jones.

Jones, who is currently an interim Nuggets head coach after Michael Malone was tested positive for Covid-19, complimented the Serbian forward saying how special of a person he is.

“He’s a special guy. He’s the type of guy that if I had a daughter, I’d want my daughter to bring Nikola Jokic home and say, ‘Hey Dad, this is who I’m going to marry.’ I know she would be in good hands,” said Jones.

Jokic is currently 3rd in All-Star voting in the Western Conference and 2nd in frontcourt voting. The Serbian averages 25.7 points, 14.2 rebounds, and 7 assists per game.
