Euroleague side Barcelona (11-3) suffered a defeat at home against Baxi Manresa (9-6). In a very exciting game, Barcelona lost after one overtime 96-95 (25-17, 12-27, 23-15, 26-27, 10-9).

In the overtime, a three-pointer by Joe Thomasson with 20 seconds remaining in the game gave Manresa the win (96-95)

The final seconds were really exciting. Rokas Jokubaitis gave Barcelona a two-point lead with just six seconds remaining in the game (86-84) but Sylvain Francisco tied the game at the last second, sending the game to overtime (86-86).

During the final quarter, Manresa even reached a 10-point lead at some point (77-67) but Barcelona fought back with a 9-0 run, reducing the deficit to just one point (77-76).

In the second half, Barcelona struggled once again offensively and Manresa took over the game scoring 23 points in the third quarter and obtaining a one-point lead entering the final period (60-59)

Barcelona struggled in the first quarter and finished the first 10 minutes down by 8 points (17-25). In the second quarter, though, the situation changed and the Catalan frontcourt started to dominate the game. Barcelona scored 27 points in the second quarter and finished the half up by 7 (44-37).
