"I have re-watched it dozens of times to understand how I missed it and what I did wrong. When Rodriguez gave me the ball against Barca, I knew I wasn't gonna miss".
Delaney said during the interview that this has been a difficult period for him physically, between Covid and knee issues.
"This has been a difficult and particular moment between Covid and some knee pain, it's something that originates from the surgery that I had last season. Just two days before the game against Barcelona I started to feel better, I wanted to play and I was able to do it ".
Despite all the injuries and the issues that Milan have been going through in the last few weeks, Delaney is still convinced that the team can achieve all the goals for this season, including EuroLeague.
"We can win everything, we want to make a run for all three trophies (Italian League, Italian Cup, and EuroLeague). When I joined Milan two years ago, I didn't do it for the money but because here I can achieve great results", Delaney explained.
"Milan has the best locker room I've ever been in my career. This season we have a great opportunity, I can feel that", Delaney added. "In order to win, we need to arrive in April-May with a good condition. If we'll be healthy, we'd be very competitive."
