Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine is not expected to miss significant time after an MRI revealed no significant structural damage to his left knee, the team announced Saturday.

LaVine injured his knee during the first quarter of Chicago's 138-96 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Friday. He took himself out of the game and immediately walked toward the Bulls' locker room with a team trainer.
LaVine, 26, is averaging 24.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 38 games this season.
He is averaging 19.6 points, 3.9 boards and 3.8 assists in 449 career games (362 starts) with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Bulls. He was selected by the Timberwolves with the 13th overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft.
