One quarter proved to be enough for Partizan Belgrade (13-2) to down hosts Derby (5-9) 93-83 (22-24, 19-19, 20-24, 32-16) in Podgorica, Montenegro, and stay on top of the ABA League standings.

Partizan got a blowout 79-57 win in the first round, but this time things were very different.

Derby started the game better, relying on the offensive rebounds (8 at halftime). Fletcher Magee, Kenan Kamenjas and Justin Edwards combined for 27 in the first 20 minutes.

On the other end, Partizan went 14/19 from within the arc, but turned the ball over seven times. As a result, the hosts had the upper hand for 30 minutes, leading by as many as six (67-61).

Everything changed in the fourth quarter, especially in the last two minutes, when Kevin Punter and Zach LeDay gave their team a 6-point lead (88-82) that essentially sealed the victory.

Partizan made a 32-16 partial score over that span.

In the end, Derby still had far more offensive rebounds (15) than Partizan (6), but Obradovic's men somehow managed to find some big shots (10-21 from downtown) that gave them another win.

Kevin Punter scored 17 for Partizan, while Dallas Moore added 14 and Aleksa Avramovic 14. Kenan Kamenjas had 20 for SC Derby and led all scorers.

Derby: Kenan Kamenjas 20 (10/15 FG, 0/1 FT, 12 REB), Justin Edwards 18 (7/12 FG, 3/6 FT, 5 REB, 3 AST), Andrija Slavkovic 13, Fletcher Magee 10, Nikola Pavlicevic 10 (5 REB, 8 AST).

Partizan: Kevin Punter 17 (4/7 FG, 8/8 FT, 4 AST), Dallas Moore 15 (6/12 FG), Aleksa Avramovic 14 (5/5 FG, 2/2 FT, 4 TO), Zach Leday 12 (5 REB), Mathias Lessort 12 (5/7 FG, 2/4 FT).
