After another solid victory in the ACB League (16-1), Real Madrid's head coach Pablo Laso confirmed that Gabriel Deck will play again with the Blancos.

"We are talking about a player who has been determinant in each team he has already played. He will help us a lot," Laso praised the Argentinian forward.

"He will give us a lot of options on both sides of the court. The first time he came, we knew he would grow with us. He understands the game, he can play in and out, and his versatility is useful," continued the Spanish coach.

This Sunday, Deck was at the WiZink Center watching his former teammates destroying Casademont Zaragoza. Once the American bureaucracy has finished, he is expected to join Madrid this week.

"The only bad thing, at least from my perspective, is that Deck has just played four games since he left Madrid last April. The ones at the Olympics. The others are difficult to analyze," Laso concluded.

According to multiple sources, Deck will sign a 2.5-year contract with Real Madrid.

Deck arrived in Madrid back in 2018, winning one ACB League, one Copa Del Rey, and three Supercups.

He moved overseas in April 2021, after the EuroLeague game against Fenerbahce Istanbul. He will be back after a disappointing spell in OKC, where he earned more than 5 million dollars playing just 17 games.

It's yet to be seen whether Deck will be able to make his debut against FC Barcelona next Sunday.

The Spanish powerhouse is set to build a huge and deep roster, especially in the frontcourt, where Tavares and Poirier will have contracts until 2024, Yabusele (2025), Randolph (2023), and Thompkins, whose contract finishes this summer.
