LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne officially announced that their Deputy Managing Director, Alain Cloux, will leave his post at the end of the season.

He performed his duties since 2014. Cloux will return to his hometown to embark on a new professional project, according to the statement.

Before his work with ASVEL, Cloux was an Administrative Director in the French Basketball Federation (1990-2000). Then his career shifted to Limoges CSP, where the basketball person worked as General Manager (2000-2004).

Moreover, he was a part of FC Monaco, taking the Administrative, Legal and Financial Director's role (2005-2010).

Via the official report, Cloux was one of the cornerstones of recent major projects, carried out by ASVEL, playing the relay between institutions, club employees, and governing bodies.

"We will obviously miss Alain in the future but we fully understand his choice. On a daily basis, he shows remarkable professionalism and brings a lot to our club. We have had a relationship of trust that has been intact from the start, forging real friendly ties over the seasons.

I still hope to be able to experience wonderful things by the end of his adventure with us, but I already wish him the best for the future," said ASVEL's President Tony Parker.
