Anadolu Efes Istanbul (13-3) got a comfortable victory in the local competition before Friday's EuroLeague match against Panathinaikos.

Ergin Ataman's squad beat Yalovaspor BK (4-12) 88-69 (24-15, 26-20, 13-17, 25-17), reaching their second straight Turkish Basketball Super League win.

Efes gained a double-digit lead (21-10) already in the first quarter. Their advantage grew up to 17 points (35-18) in the mid-second period.

Even though Yalovaspor cut the deficit to 7 points (58-65) at the start of the fourth quarter, Efes responded and regained a solid lead (74-59). They did not release the game control of their hands until the final buzzer.

Tobor Pleiss was very effective for Efes, posting a double-double with 23 points (10/12 2PT, 1/2 3PT, ), 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 block.

Adrien Moerman registered a double-double as well, scoring 12 points (1/5 2PT, 3/6 3PT, 1/2 FT) and grabbing 14 rebounds.
