One of the brightest VTB United League's stars will headline the main All-Star game events in Moscow. Mario Hezonja will participate in this year's United League's 3-point and dunk contests, sources say BasketNews.

The VTB United League officially confirmed the report.

Hezonja averages 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists this season. He's 4th in efficiency (19.2) and 6th in points among all United League players.

Hezonja has a huge chance of making the World Stars roster in the All-Star game. He's been the most popular UNICS foreign player after fans voting.

Recently the United League revealed their extended list of candidates for participation in the All-Star Game.

The most popular players in the voting were Errick McCollum (Lokomotiv Kuban, World Stars) and Artem Zabelin (Parma Perm, Russian Stars). World Stars will face Russian Stars in February 20 at VTB Arena in Moscow.

Media representatives will form the final rosters at the second stage of the voting by January 24.
