Coming back to play in Europe after nearly 10 years of absence was not easy for Donatas Motiejunas. The Lithuanian center needed some time to get accustomed to the game, but his form has been nothing less than dazzling during recent weeks.

AS Monaco Basket parted ways with coach Zvezdan Mitrovic in December hiring Sasa Obradovic afterward, and the big man's numbers immediately started to improve following the coaching change.

During the last 5 matches in the EuroLeague, Motiejunas is averaging 17.4 points and 4.2 rebounds for 19.8 PIR in only 20.6 minutes of play.

The Lithuanian center showed his worth in the national league as well. In a win against Loiret Basket Orleans on Saturday, Motiejunas notched a double-double, scoring 20 points while grabbing 10 rebounds for 21 PIR.

Motiejunas' personal coach Virginijus Mikalauskas was glad after the game and shared his client's photo on Instagram with a simple caption:

"I really don't know who working harder than him," Mikalauskas emphasized on Instagram.

"I mean you work with me so you do," Motiejunas replied to the coach's post.

Having a productive and dominant Motiejunas has also helped Monaco in the international arena. The EuroLeague rookies have won four out of the last five matches in the tournament and currently rank ninth in the standings.
