The French center missed the final 2:30 of the game with a left calf strain. Via the report, Gobert was uncertain about his near future and possible games missing.
"It's just a little strain. I've never really had that before, so it's hard for me to tell how many games I'll be out. We're gonna be cautious. I felt something right away… not a tear, but… like a slow tear. I tried to play through it, but I knew I wasn't moving right," commented the 29-year-old post-game.
He finished the game with a strong double-double, posting 12 points and 18 rebounds in 36 minutes.
Bojan Bogdanovic also hurt himself late in the match, coming down awkwardly trying to grab an offensive rebound. Though he walked off the setback and even had a chance to gift Jazz the victory but his deep shot was off the mark. After the duel, it turned out to be a right knee contusion.
The Croatian forward was not concerned regarding his injury: "It was a hard hit. I don't even know what it is [called]. I'll be fine."
Bogdanovic ended the contest, accumulating 21 points and 8 rebounds per 33 minutes.
