FC Bayern Munich officially announced that the club said goodbye to KC Rivers.

Both sides parted ways by mutual agreement before the contract ended in order to be able to accept another commitment, according to the report.

Per Sportando's Emiliano Carchia, Rivers is signing in Chinese CBA.

Rivers came to Munich on a short-term contract after Bayern's top scorer Darrun Hilliard suffered a knee injury at the end of November.

The 34-year-old helped out Bayern in six Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games, averaging 6.2 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1 assist. He contributed with 12.3 points over three German Basketball Bundesliga appearances.

During his career, the 1.96-meter swingman represented such teams as Zenit St Petersburg, Khimki Moscow, Panathinaikos Athens, Crvena Zvezda, Zalgiris Kaunas, and Real Madrid with which he won the EuroLeague title in 2015.
