Mike James on Obradovic’s arrival: 'He saved our season' / News - Basketnews.com
Since Sasa Obradovic took over AS Monaco, the club has achieved 5 wins and suffered only 2 losses in the EuroLeague. Unsurprisingly, Monaco's star Mike James didn't hide his satisfaction with such a positive change.

"The way we played and the atmosphere, in general, was not good (before)."
"Now we play using more of our strong sides. I have the ball more in my hands, we feed Donatas Motiejunas in the low post; Dwayne Bacon is getting the ball in the spots he likes the most. At times, the former coach was too passive and didn't pay the same attention to the details," James continued.
In an interview with L'Equipe, James admitted that sometimes Obradovic's wish to achieve perfection could be annoying, but at the same time, he respects that.
"Sasa could be annoying like a boss who tells you the same thing a thousand times until you execute it exactly the way he wants. It's exhausting, but when you see his dedication and the result, you can only try (to do the same) and follow him," said the American guard.
Asked whether he could stay for another season with Monaco, James did not rule such a turn of events.
"Playing in the EuroLeague is a must (meaning Monaco must qualify for the Playoffs), and we have to agree (to a deal). But why not? I like it here. If the conditions are right, I have no problem playing anywhere," James said in an interview with Yann Ohnona of L'Equipe.
