CSKA Moscow didn't find one man to raise their level, so they will have two newcomers. Per BasketNews sources, CSKA are finalizing an agreement with 27-year-old scorer Allerik Freeman, but it's not going to be their last addition.

Freeman is expected to join CSKA until the end of the season. Mozzart Sport were the first to report both sides being close to a deal.

Frutti Extra Bursaspor will receive a buyout for this transfer, which is close to €100k, sources say BasketNews.

According to sources, CSKA are still on the market for a point guard.

The EuroLeague recently extended the deadline for signing new players to February 23rd.

"It is obvious to everyone that CSKA need a player, who could score himself and organize the offense. We're still looking for him. We are offered a lot of options, but there is no athlete, who could be guaranteed to raise the game level," CSKA president Andrey Vatutin wrote in his official letter on Sports.ru.

Freeman had a successful season in Bursaspor, posting 18.9 points (4th in the competition), 2.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 15.3 PIR over eight 7DAYS EuroCup games.

1.90 m guard averaged 20.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in the Turkish championship.

Before coming to Turkey, last season, the American combo guard played forLDCL ASVEL Villeurbanne, registering 7.4 points and 3.7 PIR over 20 minutes of playing time in the EuroLeague.

Freeman previously played for Shenzen Aviators (25.5 PPG) and Alba Fehervar (17.1 PPG).
