Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade officially reported that Maik Zirbes will remain a member of the Red Star until the end of the 2021-22 season.

The 32-year-old came back to Zvezda in September 2021. He played a total of 21 games so far this season (10 EuroLeague and 11 ABA matches).

The German center is averaging 4.1 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 4.5 PIR in the strongest continental league, while posting the averages of 4.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 6.4 PIR per Adriatic League duel.

Maik Zirbes, who came to Belgrade from Bamberg for the first time in 2014, won three ABA titles with the Serbian powerhouse.
