Ingles is expected to have surgery within the next two weeks, ESPN's sources said. He's in the final year of his contract with the Jazz and was the league's runner-up for the Sixth Man Award a season ago.
Ingles suffered a severe injury in last night's match against Minnesota Timberwolves. His left knee buckled as he drove to the basket.
He was helped off the floor after recording two rebounds and three assists in just over 12 minutes.
In his eighth season with the Jazz, the Australian forward is averaging 7.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists over 24.9 minutes per game.
Ingles is Utah's all-time 3-point leader, making 1,071 shots from long distance during his career. He is a 40.8 percent career shooter from 3-point range but has converted a career-low 34.7 percent this season.
In 590 career games (313 starts), Ingles has averages of 8.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game.
The Jazz are also playing without Donovan Mitchell (concussion), Rudy Gobert (calf), and Trent Forrest (ankle). Moreover, the squad lost head coach Quin Snyder and forward Danuel House to protocols on Sunday.
Utah are 30-21 in the season and 2-8 in their last 10 games (have lost five in a row).
