Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul (10-10) welcomed ASVEL LDCL Villuerbanne (9-14) at Ulker Sports Arena.

The Turkish powerhouse overcame ASVEL, 85-76 (29-23, 18-18, 17-22, 21-13), and got their third Turkish Airlines EuroLeague win in a row. Moreover, it was the third straight defeat for the French team.
Led by Marko Guduric, Fenerbahce began the decisive 10 minutes of the game, organizing a 9-3 push and gaining a substantial 7-point advantage (73-66).
Devin Booker and Achille Polonara extended Fener's successful stretch (76-68) with 4 minutes to go. Both clubs exchanged with efficient attacks, while Pierria Henry was fouled and converted one shot from the line (79-69).
Jehyve Floyd made a dunk with 1:39 left on the clock and restored the double-digit advantage (81-71). Elie Okobo and Kostas Antetokounmpo nailed 2 free throws out of 4 attempts (73-81), as Devin Booker and Pierria Henry sealed the deal for Fenerbahce (83-73) with 38 seconds to play.
Devin Booker and Dyshawn Pierre registered 16 points apiece, while Marko Guduric added 15 points for Fenerbahce.
"I really tried to take that challenge on Okobo and we did a good job in the second half. He is a great player, especially, with his left hand and he had a lot of easy shots in the first quarters. Luckily, we managed to slow him down in the second half," spoke Guduric post-game.
"Some playmaking and some leadership of Guduric was there, especially, with his defensive effort. That was a major effort of him. I was very scared when I saw his ankle twist but, luckily, it wasn't bad. He feels better now... We must not forget that he came out of injury," spoke Sasa Djordjevic regarding Guduric, after the victorious effort.
Elie Okobo was the top scorer for the losing side, posting 23 points (6/9 2PT, 2/9 3PT, 5/6 FT), 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 6 turnovers, and 13 PIR.
Fenerbahce arranged a 9-0 run and gained a double-digit lead (34-23) at the start of the second quarter. Though, Elie Okobo-led ASVEL came back within 6 points (41-47), going into the break.
Okobo had 18 points (7/11 FG) and 16 PIR at halftime. The last time Frenchman scored 17+ points was in Round 10 against Real Madrid.
ASVEL opened the second half with a 12-2 push to retake the game control in their hands (53-49). However, the success was temporary. Fener finished the third quarter on a high note, organizing a 5-0 mini spurt and building the minimal lead (64-63).
