The Greek National Team will take on Turkey on February 25th and 28th. There is a strong possibility that the two Greek EuroLeague squads will allow their players to join the NT for these games.

The President of the Greek Basketball Federation, Vangelis Liolios, told Sport24 today that he met with the front office representatives of Olympiacos.

"Yes, it is true that an appointment was made and it went very well," Liolios said. "However, official announcements will be made tomorrow, Friday, because there is a meeting with Panathinaikos for the exact same reason".

Olympiacos are set to play against AX Armani Exchange Milan for the EuroLeague on February 24th - just one day before the Greek NT will play against Turkey.

The other Greek powerhouse - Panathinaikos - are scheduled to play against Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade on the same day as the first Greek challenge against Turkey.
