Panathinaikos OPAP Athens (11-1) bounced back from a terrible first half to hold off hosts Larissa (4-9) 90-86 (16-29, 21-21, 19-16,34-20) and keep their hopes for first place alive.

Nemanja Nedovic did almost everything for PAO on offense. He finished the game with 38 points on 8/14 from the three-point line, nearing his personal best with the green jersey.

The hosts were absolutely dominant in the first half, building a double-digit lead that reached as many as 19 points (56-37) at the beginning of the third quarter. In the first 20 minutes, Larissa were 8/10 from behind the three-point arc, had five steals and scored easily in closeout situations.

Panathinaikos were mostly terrible defensively and, with the exception of Nemanja Nedovic who scored in bunches in a one-man show, no one else followed. The Greens tried to change the chip in the third quarter, going on a 0-9 run led by Nedovic. The Serbian guard scored 27 of his team's first 48 points in the game, which took an interesting turn in the fourth quarter.

The guests reacted, played better defense and tied the game at 71 with another three-point shot from Nedovic. Gradually, the hosts started to run out of steam, allowing the Greens to take a slight edge.

Stefan Moody scored a three-point shot to make it 79-82 with one minute left. Nedovic then buried another long-distance shot to call it a game.

Larissa: Stefan Moody 19 (7/12 FG, 1/2 FT, 5 REB, 3 AST), Jalen Hudson 17 (6/11 FG, 4/6 FT, 8 REB), Marin Maric 13, Ousman Krubally 11 (7 REB), Theodoros Zaras 11.

Panathinaikos: Nemanja Nedovic 38 (12/19 FG, 8/14 3PT SHOTS, 4/5 FT, 3 TO), Okaro White 13 (6 REB), Daryl Macon 10 (7/8 FT, 5 AST), Howard Sant-Roos 9 (3 REB, 5 AST), Giorgos Papagiannis 9 (9 REB).
