Hawks to hire Quin Snyder as new head coach on five-year deal

After days of negotiating, the Atlanta Hawks have hired QuinSnyder to be the franchise's next head coach, per ESPN's AdrianWojnarowski. Snyder's contract will reportedly be for fiveyears.

According to the report, Snyder is expected to coach the teamfor the rest of the season and may make his debut on Tuesdayagainst the Washington Wizards.

The former Utah Jazz head coach has compiled a 372-264 recordoverall in the big chair, and helped lead the Jazz to six straightpostseason appearances.
