After a couple of straight threes by Sergio Llull, Real gained an early 6-point lead (8-2). However, Fenerbahce responded with a massive 17-0 spurt to build an 11-point advantage (19-8) before the second quarter.
Marko Guduric put a cherry on top, draining a trey. Fener left the Royals without points in the last 6 minutes of the first period.
